Faith

At the core of the St. Augustine Catholic School mission is to develop disciples of Christ. We provide many opportunities for our students and families to grow in their relationship with God, develop a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith, and live the Gospel in their daily life.

In addition to our daily prayer and religion class, students participate in the following:

  • Mass: Our students attend Mass every Friday and on Holy days of obligation. Each grade level takes turns planning and assisting with the carrying out of the Mass. Students attend with their Big/Little buddies, sing liturgical songs (led by our choir), and receive meaningful and insightful messages to carry out in their own lives.
  • Holy Rosary: A decade of the Rosary is prayed during morning prayer during the month of October.
  • Stations of the Cross: Students participate in weekly stations of the cross during the season of Lent.
