Angels in Action

Service to others is an important component of a St. Augustine School education. The students participate in a variety of service projects throughout the year. These projects are organized by the Student Council and National Junior Honor Society.

“Love has the hands to help others, the feet to hasten to the poor and needy, eyes to see needs and sadness, ears to hear the sighs of people. This is what love looks like.” – St. Augustine

In recent years students haves participated in the following service projects: food drives for the Elkridge Food Pantry, preparing casseroles and bag lunches for Our Daily Bread, collecting children’s books for Our Daily Bread, collecting items for the Columbia Pregnancy Center, collecting items for the Howard County Animal Shelter, providing Christmas gifts for 22 students at the Catonsville Children’s Home, collecting toiletry items for Sara’s House, raising money for community members battling cancer, and collecting items for homeless shelters.
